This 1-hour interactive training equips community service providers with practical cultural awareness and community engagement strategies for serving East and Central African communities, especially Swahili-speaking Congolese (DRC) families. Participants gain insight into cultural values, communication norms, and common barriers to access, along with concrete tools to build trust, improve outreach, and deliver more culturally responsive services. This training is great for educators, social workers, law enforcement, clinicians, and other community service providers.
